Dow Corning Silastic 3120 Hi Temperature RTV Silicone Rubber - Shore A 60

FC6600 / FC6620 / FC6630 / FC6666 Polyurethane resins are not suitable to be used with condensation cure silicone, these resins must be used with addition cure silicone mould making rubber, any other polyurethane resin that the model number is not listed above will be fine to use with the GP-3481-F silicone.

Silastic 3120 Base is suited for the reproduction of figurines, art objects and similar items where no deep undercuts or complex shapes are present and where maximum heat stability is required. It is suitable for centrifugal casting of low melt alloys, e.g.. metal soldiers etc. Outstanding release properties, High hardness (60 Shore A) for mould rigidity.

Please note this silicone is powder filled, the filler is added to allow the silicone to withstand high temperatures for hot materials, therefore adds weight to the silicone, so the weight to volume ratio is considerably different, all our high temperature kits are sold by weight.

Base and catalyst use universal containers for various kit sizes and are supplied by weight, while the supplied containers may not be full, they will contain the correct amount of both base and hardener according to the listing. At point of packaging and dispatch lids may be taped to prevent damage or spillage during transportation.

This silicone is not suitable for food use. It is also not suitable for direct use on skin.

Have been using this silicone now for several months for casting lead fishing weights, easy to use and gives very durable moulds.
