Chopped Mat, Woven fabrics and other reinforcements are used in conjunction with different resin (epoxy, polyester etc) to create a composite material. Both materials combined offer much better strengths and physical properties that the two materials could not otherwise offer alone. We have a large range of different reinforcements to suit a variety of jobs
Biaxial Fabrics have two layers positioned in two different orientations, this could either be 0˚/90˚ or +45˚/-45˚ using polyester stitching yarns
Carbon Fibre / Tape
Carbon Fibre is commonly used where high strength-to-weight ratio and rigidity are required, widely used in aircraft parts, high-performance cars and motorcycles, sports equipment and other demanding mechanical applications.
Used in reinforcing resins, thermoplastics and gypsum. Ideal for awkward areas in mould making when chopped mat will not conform due to the awkward shapes
Chopped Strand Mat
Range of cloth weights from 225g to 900g. All mats are Lloyds Register of Shipping Approved.

Kevlar Cloth / Tape
Aramid fibers (kevlar) are widely used for reinforcing composite materials, often in combination with carbon fiber and glass fibre.
Fast and complete wet out ensuring easy roll-out and optimum air release
Used to cover coarse surfaces of chopped strand mat and other GRP products, improves finish on completed laminate when used on last layer
Woven Cloth / Roving
Used in composite construction, with perfect properties of reinforcement, corrosion-resistance and insulation. Providing high tensile and flexural strength in laminates.
