Description: Smalt standard brushing polyester flocoat.
Intended Use: Designed as a Smalt general purpose topcoat for use in GRP constructions to hide fibre from lamination and generally improve appearance.
Characteristics: Suitable for application by brush or roller to give a tack free film.Application: Laminate surfaces may need abrading for best adhesion. Formulated to cure at temperatures > 16°C and needs only the addition of catalyst prior to use. Medium activity methylethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) is the recommended catalyst at an addition level of 2% by weight to ensure sufficient cure at room temperature.
Properties of liquid flocoat
