Polytek Poly 74-45 Flexible Polyurethane Rubber for Concrete Casting

Poly 74-45 is a very tough, and stretchy version of our popular Polytek PU Rubber Range. Can be poured as supplied, or thickened and brushed on. Long working time, very fluid. Excellent for cement and plaster and for limited casting of resins.

These polyurethane liquid mould rubbers are soft to mid-range hardness, high-performance, room temperature curing systems offering superior flexibility and toughness allowing durable moulds to be made from relatively simple to the most highly detailed, undercut and complex models. The 74 Series liquid mould rubbers are supplied as pourable liquids so poured block and blanket moulds can be made with ease.

In addition, these rubbers can be thickened to a user-controlled thixotropic consistency for brush-on mould applications. The thickening agent, Poly Fibre II, can also be used to thicken Polytek liquid plastics for making lightweight mould shells to support poured and brushed blanket moulds.

Poly 74 Series rubbers offer an optimum blend of economy and versatility for most mould making challenges and have become the rubbers of choice for precast concrete casting, architectural GFRC, plaster casting, art foundries, sculpture and decor reproduction, and for numerous hobby, craft, prop and display mould making and casting projects.
